Emily Haines

Jeannette Langmead Illustration Sketchblog Emily Haines

A drawing I did for daytrotter.com. It's for an article about Emily Haines (of Metric and Broken Social Scene). You cant really see the color I intended if you're not using a really dark and broken monitor. That sucks.

Thanks for the tip, D!

J - why don't you put some of you stuff up for sale for gross money and people will buy them and you will have more money for Japan. Your stuff is GOOD!

Yeah, get yourself a shop girl. Why not? It doesn't cost you on Etsy.

Hope the mural's going well.

Heyhey, you are great. As for how it looks on their site - they could have given your piece a LOT more free space around the corners, to give it room to breathe - I mean, it´s not that they have paper to waste or something. You, however, did a great job! I love the slight Jugendstil-style the hair has.

Also, I finally bought a document mailer and am ready to make a package for you A LAST.

Keep getting yourself out there, JJ! (that´s short of Japano-Jeannette)
