This makes me think of the fact that the earth itself is a living organism. I think that is where you were going. That, or a delicious spacefruit ;)

This reminds me of a jello Marge Simpson made in one of the early episodes, with all those bits inside. There are times when our worlds seems to be so dull and unexciting, but looking at stuff like cells, deep sea fish (that looks like glowing skulls) or bats, it puts things in a new perspective: Everything around us is crazy. This is what Calvin&Hobbes tried to tell us all the way.

Oh, and I am happy you love my ghosts. I love them too. They are my little cute babies!
